The similarities between Utanapishtum's account of the flood and Noah's flood are quite prominent:
1) They both have the doves leaving and not returning
2) The chosen family to survive the flood
3) The gods/God being angry then feeling sorry for acting so rash
4) The saving of the pairs of animals
5) The Wooden Ark
6) Annihilation of entire population
Great description!

ReplyDeleteMe again. Would you comment on my blog? I can't see your profile pic yet, and I'm thinking it's because it was changed after your first comment. {It's a very nice pic, by the way :)}

They were very spiritual, yet harsh. They had very Christian values.
