So MI Blood is still as pleasant as ever. We aren't folding shirts anymore, but we are starting to see people that have donated before. Its great when you can identify your heros.
A few days ago my partner and I worked a blood drive at our school which was nice. Knew all the nurses. Great fun.
So thats all I've got. Its so layed back. Who knew that volunteering could be so wonderful!

Sorry Miss Penguin!
Being that it has been six weeks working at the blood center and I have not blogged once here it goes:
To begin I would like to say thank you to my partner in crime aka (the Senior Exit Project) for the idea to volenteer in such a delightful atmosphere. I mean you think 'Blood Center' and you see steralized everything and that hospital smell that is so strong sometimes one can even taste it. This is not the case at all.
Between rubberbanding rolled up shirts and freaking out over oreo pakages with no oreos within it has been a joy to go ever Tuesday!

Gilgamesh Flood vs. Bible Flood
The similarities between Utanapishtum's account of the flood and Noah's flood are quite prominent:
1) They both have the doves leaving and not returning
2) The chosen family to survive the flood
3) The gods/God being angry then feeling sorry for acting so rash
4) The saving of the pairs of animals
5) The Wooden Ark
6) Annihilation of entire population
